Overseas network notification
2025-09-03
Special notice:We received a notice that there is a problem with tcp 443 in the domestic overseas direction. It is indeed not a network problem in our computer room. It is most likely a problem with the national firewall settings. Below are other people's reports, please refer to them.
Quick report|GFW is suspected of large-scale interference with port 443 connection
Starting tonight, users in many places have reported that China’s “Great Firewall” (GFW) is suspected of performing high-intensity interference on port 443, which is mainly characterized by severe packet loss and connection timeouts.
The specific situation is as follows:
Accessing domestic websites from abroad: When connecting to websites in China through port 443 (commonly used for HTTPS), frequent packet loss and interruption occur, and a stable connection cannot be maintained.
Domestic access to overseas sites: Domestic users also reported being unable to access overseas sites through port 443, and the HTTPS connection establishment failure rate increased significantly.
Port 80 is normal: In comparison, access using port 80 (HTTP) is still basically normal, indicating that the interference is mainly concentrated on port 443.
, this phenomenon may be related to network policy adjustments or changes in firewall rules; the specific cause has yet to be confirmed, and its scope and duration of impact remain to be further observed. Back to List
